Dreamers' Circus Embarks on Japan Tour in October 2024

The award-winning Danish folk trio Dreamers' Circus is set to bring their unique and captivating sound to Japan, performing in six different cities over the course of a week. With their distinctive blend of Nordic folk music and modern influences, Dreamers' Circus has quickly become one of the most sought-after bands in the genre, and they are excited to share their music with Japanese audiences.

The tour kicks off on October 19th and includes the following performances:

  • October 19th (Saturday) – Funabashi City Cultural Creation Center, Chiba @ 2:00 PM

  • October 20th (Sunday) – Fukui Harmony Hall, Fukui @ 4:00 PM

  • October 23rd (Wednesday) – Oji Hall, Chuo City, Tokyo @ 7:00 PM

  • October 24th (Thursday) – Bunsho-kan, Yamagata @ 7:00 PM

  • October 25th (Friday) – Densho Hall, Shibuya Cultural Center, Tokyo @ 7:00 PM

  • October 26th (Saturday) – Tokorazawa Muse Hall, Saitama @ 4:00 PM

Starting in Funabashi and concluding in Tokorozawa, the tour will take audiences on a musical journey showcasing the trio’s ability to create atmospheric, virtuosic, and emotionally charged musical experiences. Dreamers' Circus' distinctive interplay and creative arrangements of both traditional and original compositions have earned them recognition around the world.

The trio consists of Nikolaj Busk (piano and accordion), Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen (violin), and Ale Carr (cittern), each of whom brings their own unique musical background and experience to the group, making Dreamers' Circus one of the most dynamic bands in contemporary folk music.
