This digital EP consists of four tunes of wide musical variety, as detailed below:
1. Wednesday Afternoon 02:34 (Ale Carr)
An ordinary living room, an ordinary day and a piano tune.
2. Taklax Polskas 04:31 (Trad. Finland)
Johan Erik Taklax (1856-1948) was a legendary fiddler from Österbotten in Finland, well-known for his original melodies. Here are two of our favourites.
3. Brestiskvæði feat. Teitur 06:43 (Trad. Faroe Islands)
A collaboration with Faroese artist Teitur and a new take on this ancient and dramatic song.
4. Befal du dine veje 07:03 (H. O. C. Zinck 1801)
During our trip to the Faroe Islands in 2018 we encountered twelve Faroese sheep farmers who, before they embarked on a journey across steep mountain slopes to their flocks, sang this hymn just as their forefathers had done for many years.
